The Disability Access Office (DAO) values a collaborative process and works with students directly to determine reasonable plans for accommodation that facilitate access to learning, living, and other experiences at Harvard. When students register with DAO, office staff closely review their unique requests, documentation of their disability, past use of accommodations, and the functional impact of their disability on the educational experience. DAO may also solicit expert opinions from a variety of campus or professional resources for help in determining appropriate accommodations.

Please refer to the information in this section to find out more about the use of individual accommodations and contact DAO with any questions.
