With over 10 years’ experience working and studying in the areas of mental health and disability services, Vérène brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role at AEO. Prior to coming to Harvard, Vérène trained and worked as a Psychodynamic Counselor in London, England, working with a variety of clients including college students struggling with anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, questions of identity, and trauma. In addition to her experience working in the field of mental health, Vérène has several years’ experience supporting adults with disabilities to live independently through the use of Personal Care Assistants and assistive technology. A committed member of the Harvard community, Vérène also serves as a First-Year Advisor.
Vérène holds an Ed.M. in Human Development & Psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from the Manor House Center for Psychotherapy and Counselling, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology from London Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American & English Literature from the University of East Anglia.
